Y Records began operations in the spring of '94. What began as a
co-op
started by 3 local Seattle musicians and 1 roadie/guru with the purpose
of
gaining more exposure for our own bands as well as helping out a few
select friends with bands quickly became, well, bigger than that. Now we
have offices, e-mail, fax machines and interns for Goodness sake! Our
aim, as always, is to bring you the listener the highest quality music
money can buy. From our very first 7-inchers by Gary Heffern, Job,
Softy, and
Grunion to current full lengths by Sister Psychic, Bell, and
Goodness there has a been a certain smug satisfaction among us
knowing
that we can rock your world (and drink your beer).
