Low-end decent post-grunge hard rock. Pandemonium -- Tacoma, WA
Litwin's plaintive wail and Sabbath-influenced chord progressions mesh tightly with Peringer's sludgy rhythms, Rieman's solid rumblings and Bradford's kick-drum heavy pounding to produce a prime example of Seattle grind. The Rocket -- Seattle, WA
Local power storm SOFTY is nothing like it's name. Their hellacious set was well received by the adoring crowd. The Stranger -- Seattle, WA
SOFTY is heavy times ten. A supergroup of sorts, with various members previously in Coffin Break, Swallow, Gruntruck and Kill Sybil, SOFTY delivers crushing, metallic grave digging music for the hearing-impaired. Together only since March '93, SOFTY has already earned a reputation for their blistering live shows. Those shows along with their single, produced by Jack Endino, now has Seattle's collective ears ringing with the strains of SOFTY. SOFTY proves that names can be deceiving..
